AI Drives Demand for Digital Infrastructure; WPG February Revenue Hit Record High for the Period
2026/03/10
The growing adoption of generative AI is accelerating the construction of data centers worldwide. Demand for high-performance computing, AI servers, and next-generation memory is expanding simultaneously, driving upgrades in power management, networking equipment, and high-speed connectivity components. Together, these trends are creating structural demand across the semiconductor supply chain.
Amid these industry developments, WPG reported record February revenue for the same period. The company’s February 2026 revenue reached NT$79.68 billion, marking a 9.4% year-over-year increase, despite fewer working days due to the Lunar New Year holiday. YTD revenue totaled NT$174.85 billion, representing a 26.1% increase compared with the same period last year. The structural demand driven by industry upgrades was reflected in the company’s monthly performance and effectively offset the short-term impact of fewer working days during the holiday period.
