2025.08.29 LaaS Awarded Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Certification
On August 29, Frank Yeh, Vice Chairman of WPG Holdings and CEO of LaaS, accepted the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certificate on behalf of LaaS, signifying national recognition of the company’s excellence and commitment to secure, high-quality logistics services.
(The following is the full report from the Customs Administration, Ministry of Finance)

LaaS Ltd. has successfully obtained Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certification, recognizing the company as a high-quality enterprise with exceptional performance in logistics safety and service. On August 29, 2025, CEO Frank Yeh led the LaaS AEO team to the Taipei Customs Office to receive the certificate, which was presented by Taipei Customs Director Han-Ming Huang, who also extended his congratulations.
LaaS was established in 2021 and primarily engages in warehousing and logistics services for electronic components. According to CEO Frank Yeh, the implementation of the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) program provided the company with an opportunity to review its security framework, improve operational procedures, and enhance service quality. The process also reinforced LaaS’s core values of safety and efficiency in warehousing operations, strengthened its commitment to corporate social responsibility regarding supply chain security, and demonstrated a continuous dedication to enhancing supply chain safety and promoting trade facilitation to achieve the ultimate goal of sustainable business development.
Yeh added that the successful completion of the AEO certification was made possible through the collective efforts of all employees and the valuable guidance from the Taipei Customs AEO team, whose professional advice enabled the company to complete the process on schedule. Moving forward, LaaS will continue to uphold the AEO spirit by providing secure, efficient, and high-quality logistics services.
Taipei Customs stated that customs authorities continue to sign Mutual Recognition Arrangements (MRAs) with other economies, allowing Taiwanese AEO-certified enterprises to enjoy expedited customs clearance in partner countries. To date, Taiwan has signed MRAs with the United States, Singapore, Israel, South Korea, Australia, Japan, India, New Zealand, Guatemala, and Canada, enabling certified companies to benefit from reduced inspection rates and faster customs procedures when exporting to these countries.
Taipei Customs further noted that implementing the AEO framework enables companies to comprehensively review their operational processes, strengthen risk-prevention and security measures, and enhance both corporate image and competitiveness. The agency encourages more high-quality supply chain enterprises to join the AEO program and collectively promote a safer and more efficient global trade environment.
