Benefited from increased deployment of 5G base stations, increased penetration of mobile phones and the rising demand of laptops, PC, mobile phones, communication components, servers and cloud due to continued investment and optimization of distance working/education environment from both corporates and family users, WPG, the largest distributor of semiconductor components in Asia Pacific, announces August 2020 consolidated sales achieving double-digit growth continuously. August 2020 consolidated sales of NT$54.35 billion, +15.7% YoY, reached record high for the period and third highest record in WPG’s history. YTD consolidated sales reached NT$392.51 billion, + 17.5% YoY.
