Taipei, 2025—WPG marks a significant milestone as it celebrates its 20th anniversary!  This achievement is a result of the support and contributions from every partner.  We have specially designed a meaningful 20th anniversary emblem, which will be incorporated into various partner activities to express our gratitude to our original equipment manufacturers, employees, and investors for their companionship and collaboration over the years.

Meaning of the WPG 20th Emblem

The emblem is inspired by the artwork "Dranix" located on the first floor of WPG's headquarters in Nangang, Taipei.  This dragon boat-shaped piece, created by Korean artist Choe U-Ram, symbolizes strength and rebirth. Chairman Simon named it "Dranix," combining the imagery of "Dragon" and "Phoenix," representing collaborative efforts and shared prosperity.  The "2" in the emblem signifies leadership, symbolizing WPG's guiding role in the industry, while the colorful wings represent the founding years of the four major groups, symbolizing the close connections between WPG, its employees, suppliers, customers, and investors as we co-create the future.

This achievement stems from the efforts and support of all our partners.  To ensure that the message of our 20th anniversary is clearly communicated and resonates with the needs of all stakeholders, WPG is expanding and deepening existing activities to strengthen partnerships and collectively face future challenges.
