WPG (3702 TT) Reports Record High of It’s Annual Consolidated Sales Which Reaches NT$361.03Billion in 2012, +8.6% YoY. Forth Quarter 2012 Consolidated Sales was NT$90.94 Billion, +10.6% YoY.

Benefitted from increased demand of emerging markets and increased sales of smartphone and tablet, WPG, the largest distributor of semiconductor components in Asia, reported December 2012 consolidated sales of NT$29.59 billion, a 10.9% increase over previous year’s 26.67 billion; Consolidated sales of single quarter was over NT$90 billion for three consecutive quarters, which reached NT$90.94 billion on forth quarter 2012, represented 10.6% increase over previous year’s NT$82.19 billion, in line with expectation of NT$90~93 billion; Annual consolidated sales of 2012 reached NT$361.03 billion, an 8.6% increase over 2011’s NT$332.41 billion.

The sales breakdowns by regions are 82% from China (incl. HK), 11% from Taiwan, 5% from ASEAN and 2% from others.
