At a time when global warming is becoming more intense, FPG has actively undertaken the responsibility of carbon reduction. With FPG, Nan Ya Plastics Corporation, Formosa Petrochemical Corporation, Formosa Chemicals & Fibre Corporation, and Formosa Biomedical Technology Corporation jointly investing, “Formosa Smart Energy Tech Corp.” was established in 2022. It aims to integrate the group's upstream, midstream, and downstream resources and is dedicated to establishing green renewable energy industry chains based on four main aspects, namely "energy saving, energy storage, new energies, and recycling", to seek the best sustainable solutions for the Earth and humanity.
